Johan is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a Financial Consultant.

Career

After finishing his B.Acc (Hons) degree at Stellenbosch University, Johan completed his 3 years training as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen in Cape Town in 1998.

He then worked for three years for a trust company in Guernsey in the client accounting division after which he returned to South Africa and worked as a financial manager in commerce before joining Hatstone in 2018.

Johan is fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Leisure

Johan enjoys reading history books and biographies. On week-ends he will spend time in the garden and he tries to stay fit by playing squash and running (but not very far).
