Sophie is a member of Hatstone Lawyers’ business support team. She provides secretarial and administrative support to the Hatstone Lawyers’ team of Associates.

Career

Sophie started her career as a Medical Secretary in 2012 at the Jersey General Hospital providing administrative and secretarial support to Consultant Clinicians in varying departments, such as Ophthalmology, Paediatrics and Haematology to name a few. Sophie then progressed to working in a permanent capacity for the Consultant Endocrinologist at the Diabetes Centre, Overdale as their primary Medical Secretary.

After three years at home raising her children, Sophie then joined the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service as their Senior Medical Secretary. Having reached the top of her game in the Medical Secretary field, Sophie has now joined Hatstone as a trainee legal secretary with the aim of learning a completely new skill set along with fresh challenges.

Languages

Sophie speaks English and has a basic knowledge of French.

Leisure

Sophie enjoys long walks, exploring Jersey’s many beaches with her children, watching movies and spending quality time with her family and friends. Sophie has a keen interest in Wildlife and Conservation, as well as Photography.
