The British Virgin Islands (BVI) is a leading offshore finance centre, well recognised for companies, trusts and mutual funds. International businesses are attracted to the BVI for its strong and easy to understand legal framework, tax neutrality, modernised legislation, and reliable control policies. The BVI has a strong reputation for transparency and excellence in regulatory affairs and adheres to the highest standards of international best practice.
The BVI has an independent legal and judicial system. As a British Overseas Territory, its legislation is primarily based on the British legal system and English common law, and the right of final appeal in civil and criminal matters is situated with the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London.
Our office in the BVI is celebrating its 20th year in 2021. In these two decades, we have established and administered hundreds of mutual funds, companies and trusts, as well as provided fiduciary services. With the opening our BVI law firm in 2018, we’ve expanded our services to include specialised legal and structuring advice as well.
