Advocate Fritha Ford is a Group Partner in Hatstone’s Jersey office, specialising in private client matters and trusts’-related disputes. With more than a decade’s experience as an offshore disputes’ specialist, Fritha regularly advises trustees, beneficiaries and protectors alike on the issues which arise in the administration of private wealth structures.
In addition to advising on trusts matters, Fritha’s practice encompasses all aspects of commercial litigation, including insolvency, contractual disputes and negligence claims.
Prior to joining Hatstone in January 2021, Fritha practised within the Litigation and International Trust and Private Client practice groups of two large offshore firms in Jersey and was named in the ePrivate Client Channel Islands’ Top 35 Under 35 in both 2018 and 2019. In 2018, the Legal 500 named her as a recommended lawyer for dispute resolution in Jersey.
Fritha qualified as a Barrister before moving offshore and studied in London, Scotland and Sweden.
Fritha speaks English and has a conversational knowledge of both French and Swedish.
Outside of work, Fritha’s time is spent with her husband, three young children and much-loved dog, Winnie. She is a big fan of Country music and enjoys both watching and playing tennis.
