Gisselle is a Panamanian lawyer who specialises in Corporate and Commercial, Civil and Employment law. She regularly advises private and corporate clients from Europe and Latin America. Gisselle has a specific interest in Private Interest Foundations (Panama), International Private Law including protection and licensing of intellectual property rights, construction law and foreign direct investments into the Republic of Panama.
Gisselle has over 9 years’ experience as a Panamanian lawyer having obtained her LL.B in 2005 from the University of Panama.
She started her career as a paralegal at Hassan Attorneys at Law where she was involved in different types of civil, labour, real estate and corporate law matters and worked closely with the boards of local Credit Unions and Banks.
In 2011, Gisselle obtained a master’s degree in International Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
Prior to joining Hatstone, Gisselle worked as an Account Executive (Licensed Broker) for a Financial Services Agency located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was responsible for developing the Latin American client based who had connections within the Miami and the Fort Lauderdale areas. Here she gained valuable experience regarding employee benefits, retirement and investment products mostly used in the US and throughout Latin America.
Gisselle is fluent in English and Spanish.
Gisselle enjoys spending time with her family, reading about international affairs, wine tasting, travelling, exercising, doing volunteer philanthropic work and she is currently taking golf lessons.
